Clinical Skills and CPD Courses

As medical professionals it is a requirement to maintain a continuous professional development. Medipro have a constant growing portfolio of CPD and clinical skills courses. These have been developed not only to increase your knowledge and skills but to keep your practical and theoretical knowledge up to date and current, utilising the latest recommendations and evidence based practice.

Many of our courses attract CPD points and have been mapped to an accredited body where higher educational points can be achieved.

EXAMPLES OF PROFESSIONAL BODY MANDATORY GUIDANCE:

NURSING & MIDWIFERY COUNCIL

You MUST comply with the Prep (CPD) standard in order to maintain your NMC registration. The Prep requirements include a commitment to undertake continuing professional development (CPD).

* Undertake at least 35 hours of learning activity relevant to your practice during the three years prior to your renewal of registration.
* Maintain a personal professional profile of your learning activity.
* Comply with any request from the NMC to audit how you have met these requirements.

HEALTH PROFESSIONS COUNCIL

All registrants will be required to engage in CPD activities with effect from 1st July 2006. Registrants will need to record their activities in their portfolio and if selected for audit, to complete the CPD profile which they will then be assessed by CPD assessors from the HPC.
