Ambulance Emergency Care Support Worker, RCS Ed
Description
UK NHS Ambulance Services have recently introduced various practitioners into their frontline A&E model. They are to expand the skill set they have and develop alternative transport methods for their patients, especially the lower category of patient. Some of these roles have replaced the IHCD technician in most services.
This demand has enabled Medipro to introduce several programmes to assist this transition. This course has been specifically developed for this tier of staff. In particular the tier of staff who have been mapped to the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF) at band 3 and 4. Many services have named the job title of these differently including Assistant Practitioner etc, this is why Medipro have generically used the term ‘Ambulance Emergency Care Support Worker’.
This course will appeal to both NHS and private ambulance services as well as individuals wishing to gain employment within the NHS or private sector.
We are committed to providing quality educational programmes utilising the latest evidence based practice. This course has been approved by the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh as well as through OCN Credit for Learning level 3. This not only gives students a nationally recognised course but with university credits. It is also ELCAS approved for MOD personnel.
