Remote RTC Management and Extrication

Description

A comprehensive course specifically focused for individuals that may need RTC extrication and management skills in remote locations. These include MSA (motor sport association) rescue units, the MOD military as well individuals involved in vehicle extrication. This course is written and delivered by existing serving fire fighters who have all the up to date knowledge and skills, utilising the latest modern techniques.

Syllabus

Some of the main modules in this Vehicle Extrication and RTC Management course includes the following (others can be included to suit your industry):

Scene Safety
Personal Protective Equipment
Making the vehicle safe
Safety and exclusion zones
Making the decision— how best remove a patient
Extrication techniques and equipment used
Common dangers associated with motor vehicles
Managing crowds and spectators
Communications
Military Vehicles
Working with other agencies
Practicals and demonstrations


Certification

Students will be awarded a certificate upon completion. It is recommended that students refresh every 3 years due to changes in practices, vehicle technology and potential dangers


Pre-Course Requirements

There are no pre course requirements for this course. However, Medipro would recommend students complete a First Aid course before attending.


Location

At our training site in Stokesley, North Yorkshire which is in North East England.
Or at your work site across the UK (minimum numbers apply)
